Basically the higher the spec the faster the software will run. Memory is the most important
thing to have. 32MB is a suggested minimum, you have to remember that windows 95 eats about
8MB of RAM before it even runs any applications. NT itself will eat about 24MB. (4) I`m confused with the ini settings program? The ini settings for the 32bit version are all held in the registry,
instead of the old ini file as in 16bit programs. So what i have
done is written code to write to registry instead.
But this causes problems when you want to update a remote
site. You can no longer just copy the ini file. So what I have done
is to give you the facility to write the registry values out to a file. The iniwriter program has a secondary function of being able
to convert the old ini file to the new config file format. Now in the Ini settings screens you have the options of New Config File - This creates a new empty config file! and allows you to set its values. Load Config File - This reads a config file and allows you to alter its values. Read Registry - This reads the values in the local registry and allows you to alter them. The above options allow you to edit the relevant settings. Convert File to Registry - This stores the config files values into the registry. Bug Reports (100) When printing a course the last line at the bottom of the page will be cut
in half, e.g. half on page one, the other half on page two. This is now fixed in release 1.3c, you must update to at least this version to fix the problem. (101) When selecting a Keyword i.e. management then the system throws up loads
of spurious courses. This is now fixed in release 2.0beta2, you must update to at least this version to fix the problem. You also need to have at least TIM V??? to export the data correctly. (102) TES fails complaining that a recordset is read only! You must install the Microsoft fix. This will update the MSJET35.dll and MSREPL.DLL to version 3.51.
