Our Philosophy
We provide professional training using the Microsoft Official Curriculum. Our fully qualified
Microsoft Certified Trainers are trained in and use the latest .NET technologies.
When our trainers are not teaching they use their experience every day either
developing or providing support.
While we are able to deliver all of the MOC curriculum we prefer to specialise in the areas of our expertise. This
way our clients benefit the most from the courses. We teach more from our experience and less from the
written word on the MOC pages.
Our training
We have two main strands of teaching, the developer strand, and the support strand.
Our developer trainers specialise
in windows and web applications using VB.NET, ASP.NET, VB6, ASP, SQL Server and Access. We have previously delivered
MOC courses
Course 2310: Developing Microsoft ASP.NET Web Applications Using Visual
Studio .NET (5 days),
Course 2565:
Developing Microsoft .NET Applications for Windows (Visual Basic .NET) (5 days),
Course 2524:
Developing XML Web Services Using Microsoft ASP.NET (3 days),
Course 2073:
Programming a Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Database (5 days),
Course 2072:
Administering a Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Database (5 days). All our developer trainers have
the MCSD, MCAD and MCDBA qualifications.
Our support trainers specialise in the MCSE, and MCSA tracks. We have previously delivered
Course 2152:
Implementing Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional and Server (5 days),
Course 2126:
Managing a Microsoft Windows 2000 Network Environment (5 days),
Course 2159:
Deploying and Managing Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2000
(3 days). We are soon to be delivering windows 2003 courses too.
Number of Students
We prefer to keep the number of students to a maximum of 6. We have found that any more than this and the students loose
the one to one attention that they deserve.
For the best training, how about purely one to one. Our trainers will come to
your location and provide one to one training and can tailor the course to your
needs.
Location
We are very flexible in location, so flexible in fact that we do not have a
specific training centre. We prefer to come to you! This helps to keep the costs
down. If you provide the location and PCs then the cost to your company for six
people will be as cheap as sending one and half persons to a training centre.
We do know of a few good locations in Swansea, Bristol, Southampton, Reading where you can come to do the training,
however this will add to the cost as you will have to pay for the hire of room and equipment
and accommodation.
Cost
Our pricings are kept as simple as possible...
| Item | Cost |
Trainer | £2000 a week |
MOC Course Books | £160 per student |
Machine Setup for Course | £1000 |
Other Location | varies |
So you can see from the table if you were to have one to one tuition where
you provided the room, equipment, and setup for the course, it will set you back
£2160 for a weeks training. However if you were to have six people and provide
the room, equipment and setup then it will only cost £2960 making the course only £500 per person!
